Bill consulted with us then created a plan with weekly in home sessions. We appreciate this customization for quicker results. During these sessions, Bill provided techniques that really helped improve our pup’s behavior with the stand out being bite inhibition training and loose leash walking. Our pup is now 5 months old and no longer biting or growling at us, and we are able to walk without excessive pulling. We are very thankful for all the help that Bill provided our pup and family.

I found Bill through an online search to help me with our two adopted puppies. Even before meeting or discussing training services, Bill spent 30 minutes with me on the phone giving me advice as a very overwhelmed new dog owner. Bill came to our home for 8 weeks and every week our 21/2 year old Cavapoo Muffin looked forward to his visits. I employed All About Canine Care to help with housebreaking and manners training for our toy Pomeranian puppy. I found this service via an internet search. I was pleased to find Bill was very competent as a trainer, as well as professional and organized. Our dog also responded well to Bill and enjoyed the training sessions. He provided our family with the information to train our dog, as well as introducing each skill to our pet. The training takes patience and practice to be successful. Having previously utilized a different dog trainer with another dog, I was more than a little surprised when Bill started working with my Labrador puppy. First, he was able to “connect’ with my dog from the outset. As our sessions continued I was amazed not only with what he taught my dog, but also what he taught me. Bill provided excellent professional one-on-one training with our Golden Retriever puppy, Charlie. He meet with us and set up an individual plan for Charlie. During the 10 one hour session, Bill trained us and Charlie in the comfort of our home. Having the training in our home was important to us. Charlie was comfortable there and it made it easier to fit into our busy work/life schedule. He worked with Charlie and trained us. He provided us with techniques for success. Charlie was very comfortable with Bill and loved the training treats. Charlie is now 7 months old and still very energetic but more well behaved. He provided us the tools to continue to train him. I contacted Bill about training my 3-year old labrador who, quite frankly, had become something of a spoiled princess. I was impressed during the initial consultation with Bill and his ability to calm her down almost immediately. Lucy spent an hour a day for 3 weeks with Bill, and she is a completely different dog now. She understands what is expected of her, responds to commands with little hesitation, and has become the dog I knew she could be. She’s so much easier for me to handle, and she seems happier following my lead (instead of the other way around!). Bill’s ability to develop a rapport with her was amazing. In fact, I can’t mention his name out loud without Lucy assuming we’re headed to training! I appreciated the fact that his training techniques are rooted in positive reinforcement, and that even when needing correction he displayed tremendous patience. I also appreciated Bill’s patience with me as he trained me to handle Lucy. I learned a lot about my own body language, tone of voice, and consistency – things I hadn’t considered prior to Bill’s instruction – that are making an incredible difference in the way Lucy responds to me. Lucy and I are continuing to work on the skills Bill taught us, and I’m looking forward to taking her back for more advanced training in the near future. I would recommend Bill to anyone who is looking for an exceptional trainer. We’ve been to other trainers, and never got results that could come close to what Bill accomplished with her. Lucy and I have a much better relationship now, and we’re both so much happier!

I would recommend Bill to anyone. Our puppy was paper trained, and we could not get her to understand to go outside. It was very frustrating. Bill came to our home and evaluated the situation and told us step by step what to do. Rylie is doing much better, and we are enjoying our time with the dog instead of cleaning up countless messes.

My husband and I brought Cam into our lives last November. Cam was an 11 month old mix lab/retriever from a rescue shelter and was very skittish and hard to focus but smart. If we didn’t get him under control, we saw Cam as being the master and we would be the follower. In came Bill! Bill approaches dog training very professionally. He met with me to determine the goals of the training, provided information concerning puppies and dogs needs and characteristics, and set expectations as what we could expect. Thru out the program, he provided insight into dog handling. I’ve had dogs all of my life so I thought I was pretty well versed but Bill provided a lot more knowledge. The training program was 8 weeks in length, 5 days a week, with one day, a “transference day”, or as I would call it, a train the owner day! Bill successfully trained Cam on the general commands. But we gave him a few challenges as well. We live on a Farm and Cam would chase vehicles coming on our property. Since we have large trucks visiting, we were concerned with Cam’s safety. Bill, within 4 sessions, was able to get Cam to “wait” when a vehicle came onto the property!! Cam also would bark when anyone entered the property. Now with a “SHHH” command, he stops! I would recommend Bill for any training large or small. You won’t regret it!
